Yaşar Ercan stated that the company aims to grow both in Turkey and international markets and said that the Asian region has an important place in this strategy. Ercan stated that the company currently has export activities for the Asian market and that they especially sell to Vietnam and China.

Stating that they aim to include Malaysia in addition to these markets, Ercan stated that they are carrying out intensive business development studies in this direction. Emphasizing that these activities are not limited to fair participation, Ercan noted that non-fair business development initiatives also continue. Stating that Turkish defense industry companies play an active role in the region, Ercan said that in this context, important collaborations have been implemented under the leadership of ASELSAN and ROKETSAN, and that the platform-based works of Otokar and FNSS also attracted attention.

Ercan stated that TEOPS focuses on providing intermediate product solutions especially in the field of electro-optics and stated that this field requires high technology and knowledge. Emphasizing that it is difficult to gain know-how in electro-optical technologies and that its sustainability is critical, Ercan stated that the high turnover of human resources in Malaysia is expressed as an important challenge in the sector.

For this reason, Ercan stated that collaborations with strategic companies are also valuable for the countries in the region and said that the market in question has a significant potential for TEOPS. Ercan stated that, in addition to Malaysia, the company generally considers the Central Asian region within the scope of its growth targets, and noted that the opportunities in the region are closely followed.
