Bell Boeing has signed a contract worth $157 million for the modernization of V-22 Osprey aircraft used by the US Navy and US Marine Corps. Within the scope of the contract, 10 Nacelle Improvement Kits and 3 sets of Pylon Support Assembly will be delivered for the MV-22 and CMV-22 variants. Project management is carried out by the Naval Air Systems Command. Modernization efforts focus on the following critical structural and mechanical components: • Engine Capsules: Systems that house the engines and enable the transition from vertical to horizontal flight.

• Pylon Assemblies: Components that connect the engine capsules to the wings and absorb operational loads. Production activities will be carried out mainly in the cities of Amarillo and Fort Worth in Texas and the Ridley Park region in Pennsylvania. The project is planned to be completed in December 2028. These improvements; It is aimed to increase the reliability and sustainability of the V-22 fleet, which continues to be the basic platform for transportation and logistics.
