KAHRAMANMARAŞ (AA) – “Traditional Children’s Games Festival” was organized in Kahramanmaraş under the coordination of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. At the festival held at Batıpark Indoor Sports Hall, students played traditional games such as sack race, rope jumping, handkerchief snatching and tug of war. In his speech at the event, Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yasin Özdemir thanked those who contributed to the organization of the festival.
Stating that the festival was completed efficiently, Özdemir said, “As Kahramanmaraş, we participated in 47 branches in the 2025-2026 period. We held competitions in rafting, mountaineering and climbing branches for the first time this season. I would like to thank all our athletes, students, teachers and parents who participated in our festival.” he said. Medals were given to the students who ranked highest in the competitions held within the scope of the festival.
Kahramanmaraş Provincial Director of National Education Turan Akpınar, school principals, teachers, students and parents attended the program.
