PEUGEOT’s new model 408, with its striking fastback design and SUV codes in the C segment, is in Turkey with Allure and GT hardware packages and 6 different color options.
PEUGEOT, one of the world’s most established automobile brands, is breaking the mold with its new 408 model, with its SUV-coded dynamic silhouette and perfect fastback design. The new PEUGEOT 408, which was introduced to the world at the Paris Motor Show in October 2022, started to be sold in Turkey as of March 2023. While PEUGEOT will increase its product diversity in the highly competitive C segment with the new 408, it will also continue the brand’s success in the SUV class. PEUGEOT 408, which was initially imported to Turkey with a 1.2 PureTech 130 engine and 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission, is planned to be offered for sale in a fully electric version in the future. In addition to the Allure and GT hardware packages, PEUGEOT 408 can be chosen in 6 different color options. While the Allure hardware level of PEUGEOT 408 is offered for sale at 1 million 110 thousand TL, the PEUGEOT 408 model with GT hardware level can be purchased at special launch prices starting from 1 million 283 thousand TL. PEUGEOT Turkey also draws attention with the financing campaign offered throughout March for the new 408 model, up to 240 thousand TL, with a maturity of 12 months and an interest rate of 0.99%.
The unique appeal of the dynamic and innovative fastback design blended with SUV codes
In the design of the new 408, the first striking element is the brand-specific cat stance and refers to brand affiliation. With its sharp design lines, the front design proudly hosts the new lion-headed PEUGEOT logo. The reverse cut of the rear bumper gives the eye-catching profile a powerful appearance. The new PEUGEOT 408 stands firmly on the ground and inspires confidence with its 19-inch JASPE rims in Allure equipment and 19-inch GRAPHITE rims in GT equipment. Details such as the lion tooth design light signature at the front and three-claw LED taillights at the rear perfectly integrate the 408 into the PEUGEOT family.
Matrix LED technology used in the headlights of PEUGEOT 408 GT provides high lighting performance and also enables slim headlamp designs. This headlight design gives the 408 a determined and powerful look. The light signature extends downwards with the lion’s tooth design integrated into the bumper with two LED strips.
The 408 has an exterior design in the form of an eye-catching Fastback body, which is unusual in the C segment and contains powerful SUV codes. Produced using the EMP2 platform, the 408 has a length of 4,687 mm, a width of 1,859 mm and a height of 1,478 mm. The 2,787 mm wheelbase brings with it ample rear seat living space. The new PEUGEOT 408, with a front track width of 1,589 mm and a rear track width of 1,604 mm, displays a strong and confident stance with its 19-inch wheels.
The 19-inch wheels attract attention even when stationary, creating a unique visual effect when driving at low speeds. The extraordinary design of the rims offers a structure that is compatible with the concept approach of the new 408. The new PEUGEOT 408 is produced in 6 different body colors: Obsession Blue, Titanium Grey, Techno Grey, Elixir Red, Pearl White and Pearl Black.
Superior technology and security standards
The new PEUGEOT 408 is equipped with the most up-to-date driving assistance systems. Stop With 4 high-resolution cameras (front, rear and side) and 360° parking assist, side mirror angle adjustment when reverse gear is engaged makes the driver’s job easier during parking and manoeuvres. Automatic high beam ensures maximum use of high beams without dazzling Matrix LED headlights or approaching vehicles.

Efficiency expert engine combined with aerodynamics
When developing the new 408, reducing consumption and CO₂ emissions was one of the top priorities of the PEUGEOT teams. As with all PEUGEOT models, aerodynamics have been handled with great care. The bumper, trunk lid, diffuser, mirrors and underbody coverings were optimized with the body in close cooperation between PEUGEOT’s design and aerodynamics engineers. In addition, the design of the rims provides better aerodynamic efficiency and contributes to the overall performance of the car. Body rigidity was optimized by combining structural elements to increase vibration comfort. 11.18 m turning circle, superior handling, best-in-class driving comfort and superior driving pleasure form part of the DNA of the new PEUGEOT 408.
