ANKARA (AA) – Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that 9 of the 13 projects prepared by 27 students representing Turkey in the 2026 International Regeneron ISEF Science and Engineering Competition were deemed worthy of an award.

Kacır gave information about the success of Turkish students in his post on the social media platform of US-based company X.

Kacır emphasized that young people were proud again in the 2026 International Regeneron ISEF Science and Engineering Competition and said:

“Among the 13 projects prepared by 27 students representing our country, 4 projects were awarded the Grand Prize, 2 projects were awarded the Second Prize, 2 projects were awarded the Fourth Prize and 1 project was awarded the Special Prize. I wholeheartedly congratulate our students, who have added a new one to the pride of our country with their success, their advisors who guided them, and their families who are always with them with their support.”
