ANKARA (AA) – Chairman of the Grand Unity Party (BBP), Mustafa Destici, stated that political parties are indispensable elements of democracy and said, “We want them to get rid of such internal turmoil and walk their way in unity and solidarity. We want this turbulent period to end as soon as possible and for the CHP to continue on its way by ensuring its own unity and internal unity.” he said. Destici and his accompanying delegation visited the grave of their party’s Founding Chairman, Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

During the visit, carnations were left on Yazıcıoğlu’s grave, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were said. In his statement to journalists after the visit, Destici remembered Yazıcıoğlu and his companions who walked to martyrdom and all the martyrs with mercy and wished them to rest in peace. Destici said that this country is the trust of martyrs and ancestors, and that their part is to protect this trust as necessary and to hand over the great state of the Republic of Turkey to the next generations in a free and independent manner.

Destici wished that the dedication and prayers of the pilgrims in Arafat would be accepted, and that their prayers would lead to the salvation of the oppressed in the entire Turkish-Islamic geography, from Gaza to East Turkestan, from Crimea to the Caucasus, and to the peace of humanity. Destici congratulated the Eid al-Adha of all Muslims, especially the families of the martyrs, and emphasized that they will continue to protect the relics of the martyrs as the state, the nation and the BBP.

– “We wish CHP to continue on its path by ensuring its internal unity.” Destici answered journalists’ questions after his statement. In response to the question regarding the “absolute nullity” decision taken in the CHP congress case, Destici made the following evaluations: “There is a way for the decision to be taken to the Supreme Court. I think this will definitely be taken, but of course there were different developments there as well.

When Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu returns to the head of the party again as the Chairman, I think CHP will not institutionally take the nullity decision given by the appeal to the Supreme Court. Because institutionally, this needs to be moved. I believe that the decision will remain here, that a Supreme Court phase cannot happen right now, that such a thing cannot happen unless the CHP applies institutionally, but of course, the members who object to this decision or Mr.

Özgür Özel’s team apply, the Supreme Court will evaluate it or not, I do not know. Our lawyers will know better.” Recalling the developments that took place and underlining that the future is CHP’s own internal matter, Destici said that the parties were looking for a common point to agree on and that this was related to the date of the congress. Destici said, “Political parties are indispensable elements of democracy.

We want and desire political parties to get rid of such internal turmoil and walk their way in unity and solidarity. “We wish this turbulent period to end as soon as possible and for the CHP to continue on its path by ensuring its own unity and internal unity.” he said. – “I think the election will take place in the autumn of 2027 at the earliest.” Destici said, “Due to all these events, could an early dominant election be possible?” “The elections will be held on time or very close to the time.” he replied.

Emphasizing that it is the common will of the AK Party, MHP and BBP to re-elect President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the presidential candidate of the People’s Alliance, Destici said, “I do not expect an election this year or in the spring of 2027. I think the election will be in the autumn of 2027 at the earliest.” shared his opinion. 11The water discharged from a height of 173 meters at the Karakaya Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) in Çüngüş district of Diyarbakır turned into a visual feast.

The amount of water in the basin of Karakaya Dam and HEPP, Turkey’s third largest dam and second largest hydroelectric power plant, reached 9.5 billion cubic meters with heavy rainfall. In the Karakaya Dam and HEPP, which has an installed capacity of 1800 megawatts with a total of 6 units, 2 discharge gates of the dam were opened in the first place on May 11, after 7 years, against the risk of possible floods due to the water level approaching the maximum level.

The discharge of pressurized water from the dam set, whose body height is 173 meters, turned into a visual feast. Rainbows occasionally form in the region due to sunlight.
