Apple has updated trade-in values for its Trade In program in the US. While the new table includes higher upper limits for all main models in the iPhone 16 series and iPad family, a mixed table was created on the Mac and Apple Watch side. Some trade-in offers for Android phones have been reduced.
New table in Apple Trade In values
The highest iPhone trade-in value in Apple’s Trade In program valid in the USA increased to $ 695. The upper limit for iPhone 16 Pro Max, which was previously $685, increased to $695. The value increased from $550 to $560 for the iPhone 16 Pro, from $455 to $465 for the iPhone 16 Plus, and from $435 to $460 for the iPhone 16.
The update on the iPad side covers all current major models. The highest trade-in value for the iPad Pro increased from $670 to $690. The upper limit for iPad Air increased from $445 to $460, for the standard iPad from $220 to $235, and for iPad mini from $250 to $265.
On the Mac side, increases and decreases were included in the same table. The upper trade-in value for the MacBook Pro increased from $685 to $690. On the MacBook Air side, the previous upper limit of $ 485 increased to $ 520. The value for the Mac mini increased from $340 to $375, while the $355 cap for the iMac remained unchanged. On the upper segment Mac side, the highest value decreased from $ 2,090 to $ 2,045.
A similarly complex update was made to Apple Watch models. Trade-in value for Apple Watch Ultra 2 increased from $295 to $305. The upper limit for Apple Watch Series 9 increased from $ 120 to $ 130. While the $ 150 value is maintained for Apple Watch Series 10, the upper limit for the first Apple Watch Ultra decreased from $ 215 to $ 205.
Trade-in offers for Android phones are more limited and mostly downward. The upper limit for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which was previously $ 230, was reduced to $ 200. For Google Pixel 8 Pro, the value decreased from $ 170 to $ 165. The $125 value for the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the $200 value for the OnePlus 12 have not changed. The highest exchange range on the Android side also dropped from $370 to $360.
The figures given within the scope of Apple Trade In are listed as estimated values. The final offer is determined by the inspection and condition check made after the device reaches Apple. Users can use the trade-in credit when purchasing a new Apple product or, where appropriate, receive it as an Apple Gift Card. For devices that are not eligible for credit, Apple offers a free recycling option.
