SİNOP (AA) – Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Sinop, the northernmost point of Turkey, is experiencing a density of visitors due to the Eid al-Adha holiday. In the city, where accommodation facilities were largely full, visitors crowded historical places and beaches on the second day of the holiday. Visitors showing great interest in the Sinop Historical Prison and Museum, which was restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and opened to visitors last year, caused long queues to form at the entrance of the historical building.

Erfelek Tatlıca Waterfalls and Hamsilos Nature Park also attract visitors in the city, and sightseeing boat trips were among the activities that attracted the attention of visitors. Meanwhile, in the city where there was an increase in vehicle traffic due to the holiday activity, precautions were taken at different points by the Provincial Police Department Traffic Branch teams. The teams warned the drivers not to park improperly in the city and directed them to the parking lots.
