Hanwha Aerospace signed a memorandum of understanding with Indra Group to collaborate on a military project in Chile.

The agreement, signed during the FIDAE 2026 fair held in Santiago, focuses on providing a common solution for Chile’s armored vehicle modernization program.

Within the scope of the memorandum of understanding, Hanwha Aerospace will provide platforms such as the Tigon wheeled armored vehicle; Indra is expected to supply mission systems including communication, situational awareness and command-control capabilities.

Indra will also support operational coordination in the region through its established network in Central and South America.

The two companies stated that this partnership aims to expand cooperation in the land defense market throughout Latin America, starting from Chile.
