ASELSAN introduced three different variations of TOLUN to the FIELD for the first time with FULMAR 500A, which will change the game in air attack. ASELSAN continued to introduce its remarkable systems at the SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aviation and Space Industry Fair in Istanbul, which brings together the major players of the defense industry from Turkey and the world. The launch of FULMAR 500A and TOLUN-L, TOLUN-F and TOLUN EW from the TOLUN family at the fair attracted the attention of global players.
FULMAR 500A Radar introduced at SAHA; It was developed to be integrated into unmanned aerial vehicles and manned patrol aircraft, especially AKINCI and AKSUNGUR UAV platforms. FULMAR draws attention with its structure that enables multitasking with a single system. Single radar, multi-domination FULMAR; In addition to Unmanned Marine Vehicles and mines on the water; It offers a holistic surveillance capability in the field with the ability to simultaneously detect and track surface, land and air targets.
System; It provides multiple target detection and tracking at high ranges in air-air and air-ground missions. FULMAR, which can instantly identify moving land targets, can create high-resolution earth maps with SAR imaging. Having under-cloud imaging capability, FULMAR reduces operational burden and increases efficiency by combining different tasks on a single platform. Thanks to FULMAR’s Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) architecture; It stands out with its high scanning speed, multiple target tracking and low response time.
This technology provides timely and reliable information to decision makers by providing instant data flow in the field. The system is aimed to be a significant force multiplier in the field with the high situational awareness it will bring to air platforms. The new members of the TOLUN family, TOLUN-L, are 250 lb. integrated ANS-KKS and Laser Seeker Head Guided vehicles that can be transported via the Multiple Transport Saloon (SADAK 4T).
Its class stands out as a full-shot ammunition with a particle-effect warhead. TOLUN-L, which has a range of 50 km with its opening wing structure for use in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, provides precise engagement and low side damage capability to critical moving or stationary targets thanks to its laser seeker head. As a working principle, TOLUN-L can continue its ANS-guided flight after leaving the aircraft until the first KKS solution is provided.
After detecting the laser energy reflected from the target, TOLUN-L can complete its engagement with the target by cycling the laser seeker head. TOLUN-L, which can be used in all weather conditions, can track waypoints. TOLUN-L, which has a selectable hit angle, can reduce operational costs by reducing the number of sorties. Maximum effect at a certain distance. In addition to its advanced features, TOLUN-F can be programmed from the cockpit to maximize its destructive power on the target.
TOLUN-F includes a timed electronic fuze and a proximity sensor that allows detonating the warhead from a certain distance before the ammunition hits the target. TOLUN-F’s particle-aided warhead explodes at a certain distance on the target, providing maximum damage against various target types. Long Range Ammunition with Electronic Warfare Capability TOLUN EW was developed with national resources as a long-range full-shot ammunition with electronic warfare capability.
TOLUN EW is designed to create an effect in the electromagnetic spectrum by staying in the air over the target for a certain period of time and to engage the target when necessary.
