Opening the door to a new era in the war environment of the future, ASELSAN showcased Turkey’s first Kamikaze Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (OSA) KILIÇ and TUFAN Kamikaze Unmanned Marine Vehicle (IDA), which are the new striking forces of the Blue Homeland. ASELSAN introduced the national technologies of the future at SAHA 2026, which brought together the global players of the defense industry under one roof. KILIÇ Autonomous Kamikaze Underwater Vehicle and TUFAN New Generation Kamikaze UAV systems, which ASELSAN introduced with the slogan “New striking forces of the Blue Homeland”, will be a deterrent force against unpredictable threats.
Sharp KILIÇ under the sea Designed to detect and destroy sea targets, KILIÇ 10, which is in the unmanned, disposable, very light class category, stands out as an underwater system developed with a compact and hydrodynamic design with a low visibility profile. Optimized for asymmetric naval warfare and underwater/surface operations, KILIÇ 10’s superior features such as high precision destruction, swarm operation capability, cable-guided control and low detectability make a difference in the field.
The KILIÇ 200 product from the KILIÇ product family is in the middle class category and is a member of the KILIÇ 10 that has a low cost, high range and high explosive quantity. SWORD 200; Release with IDA, high precision destruction with integrated warhead, swarm operation capability, increased mission range with surface thermal and IR camera come to the fore. TUFAN in the Blue Homeland Capable of carrying a high-explosive warhead, TUFAN draws attention as an IDA that can operate in a swarm formation and has advanced situational awareness and autonomy capabilities.
TUFAN can be used to neutralize surface targets or platforms as well as critical facilities on the coastline. TUFAN, which can be deployed individually or in a swarm formation for reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence missions, can perform different tasks by creating asymmetrical attack formations and task-specific subgroups. The system, which can autonomously avoid moving and fixed obstacles, also offers image-based target detection and engagement capability.
TUFAN will be a force multiplier in the Blue Homeland with its advanced situational awareness, autonomy, as well as high speed and maneuverability. In addition to its high-explosive warhead, TUFAN, which can perform autonomous navigation and mission execution in a swarm formation, has image-based target detection and engagement capabilities.
