It was determined that Atalay Demirci, who was sentenced to 5 years in prison for “being a member of an armed terrorist organization” within the scope of the case against the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETO), was in Istanbul.
An operation was initiated by Istanbul Police Department Anti-Terrorism and Intelligence Branch Directorate teams under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to capture the individuals wanted within the scope of FETO.
HE WAS ARRESTED BY THE COURT
Within the scope of the studies carried out, it was determined that Atalay Demirci, who was wanted for the crime of being a member of an armed terrorist organization, was in Istanbul. After technical and physical tracking, Demirci was caught in an operation carried out in Kartal district.
It was learned that Demirci was transferred to the courthouse after his procedures at the police station and was arrested by the court.
