There has been an exciting development for Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts, one of the world’s most popular role-playing game universes, and the new Ravenloft comic book project prepared by Dark Horse Comics has been officially introduced. This series, announced simultaneously with the “Season of Horror” events planned by Wizards of the Coast for this summer, promises to drag readers who love the gothic horror atmosphere into the depths of dark lands.
This special miniseries, which will consist of four issues, will appeal to both old fans and fans alike. Our hero, who is trying to save the world, suddenly finds himself in the position of being hunted and enters into a great struggle for survival. The script of the series is written by Bram Stoker award-winning author Amy Chu, known for her works such as “Carmilla: The First Vampire” and “Red Sonja”. The drawings are signed by Ariela Kristantina, whom we know from the work “The Girl Who Draws on Whales”. While Arif Prianto (Poison Ivy, Green Lantern Corps) is sitting in the coloring chair, the writing is done by Haley Rose-Lyon. Alternative cover options prepared by famous artists such as Guillem March, Riley Rossmo, Francesco Francavilla, Todor Hristov and Angela Wu will also be offered for collectors.
