The world-famous tourism center attracts attention with its white travertines and historical buildings. Those who came to the region for holiday formed a queue at the entrance points. Tourists walking on the travertines took photos in front of the white image created by the thermal water. One of the areas that attracted the most attention from visitors was the Ancient City of Hierapolis, which has a history of approximately 2 thousand years.
Tourists toured the ancient theatre, Roman bath and grave site and received information from guides in front of historical buildings. Some visitors rested on the steps of the ancient theater and watched the view. There was also intensity around the Cleopatra Pool. Tourists entered the thermal water, which is believed to be healing, and enjoyed swimming among the ruins of ancient columns. Seval Çiçek, who came from Antalya with her family for the holiday, said that she was impressed by the atmosphere of the ancient city and said, “We have been wondering for a long time. We saw that there was intense interest. It is a beautiful environment. I liked the historical texture of this place. I think everyone should come and see it.” he said.
