ERZURUM (AA) – There is a density of visitors in the fairy chimneys in Erzurum’s Narman district on the last day of Eid al-Adha.

The region, which consists of 12 canyons and is similar to the Grand Canyon in the USA, has stood out among alternative tourism routes in recent years.

Visitors who came to the region from various cities of Türkiye for the holiday, visited the fairy chimneys, which date back to approximately 300 million years ago and are popularly known as the land of red fairies.

In the busy campus, visitors took photos among the red valleys.

Some visitors also had a pleasant time riding horses in the valleys where red and green meet.
