Time Travel and Apocalypse Approaching
A much more complex and dark scenario awaits viewers in the new season. After the shocking finale of the first season, the X-Men team has been thrown into different layers and periods of time.
Our heroes will come face-to-face with one of the most dangerous enemies in comic book history: the Apocalypse, as they try to find each other in this vast time gap that stretches from antiquity to the distant future and go back to their own era, the 1990s. The trailer makes it clear that the story will be heavily inspired by the Marvel comic book universe’s legendary “Age of Apocalypse” series. In the absence of the main team, anti-mutant movements and radical groups are gaining more power than ever in the world of the 90s.
