SSB President Görgün visited shipyards in Istanbul

Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün visited Yonca Shipyard, Türkter Shipyard and TK Tuzla Shipyard in Istanbul.

Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün visited Yonca Shipyard, Türkter Shipyard and TK Tuzla Shipyard in Istanbul. During his visits, Görgün received information about the activities and capabilities of the shipyards and made on-site inspections. Regarding his visits, Gör made the following statements on his social media account: “We visited Yonca Shipyard, Türkter Shipyard, TK Tuzla Shipyard to examine the production activities carried out in our shipyards in Istanbul, engineering capabilities and the current state of our industrial infrastructure on site.

In our country, surrounded by seas on three sides, such strengthening of our maritime capabilities lays a strong ground not only for today’s needs but also for the strategic needs that will arise in the future.” By combining its historical knowledge with the engineering of the age, maritime has reached a level that directs collaborations on a global scale. These developments are made possible by the determination and high responsibility awareness of all our employees working in our shipyards that carry our production power.
