The driver of the car that fell into the cliff in Kocaeli was injured

KOCAELİ (AA) – The driver was injured when the car overturned into a cliff in Başiskele district of Kocaeli.

The car, whose license plate was not known, driven by T.Ş. (18) on Ulu Önder Street in Yuvacık Yakacık District, went over the pavement and iron railings on the side of the road and fell into the cliff in the wooded area as a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel.

Upon the notice of the surrounding people, gendarmerie, fire brigade, health and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region.

The driver, who was injured in the car that fell into a cliff of approximately 80 meters, was carried from the path on a stretcher to the ambulance after the first aid of the medical staff.

It was learned that the driver, who was taken to the hospital, is in good health.
