This time, the accessory side has been added to the leaks about Apple’s foldable iPhone model. The first protective cases listed by iFunSmart carry details about the design of the device that overlap with previously revealed mock-up and CAD-based claims.
Foldable iPhone design appears on case manufacturers’ lists
The first case lists prepared for Apple’s first foldable iPhone model began to appear on the internet. Accessory manufacturer iFunSmart has listed its protective cases for the yet-to-be-introduced device. These listings attract attention, especially with the multi-piece case design used due to the rear camera placement, body profile, MagSafe-like magnetic field and foldable structure.

Case manufacturers generally prepare for production using mock-up devices or leaked CAD files before new iPhone models are introduced. For this reason, early holster designs do not constitute official information. Despite this, the fact that accessory manufacturers have to keep the margin of error in mold dimensions low makes such lists an important indicator of Apple’s upcoming device designs.
In the iFunSmart listings spotted by the French Apple site iPhoneSoft, a simple camera plate with two camera lenses is seen on the back of the device. The case also features a form suitable for the slim body structure, a circular magnetic field that can be used with MagSafe style accessories, and a transparent matte surface. The manufacturer’s description includes military-grade drop protection, integrated N52 magnets, a 1.5 mm raised lip around the camera and a 1 mm raised bezel on the display side.

The fact that there are only two rear camera sections in the case images is in line with the dual camera claims that have been brought to the agenda before. These claims stated that Apple would not include a telephoto camera in the foldable iPhone model. There is also a section reserved for the Camera Control button in the images. On the other hand, there is no separate section for Action Button.
Due to its foldable form, the case is not designed as a one-piece classic protective shell. The listed product consists of snap-on parts that are attached separately to different parts of the device. This structure is one of the most obvious details showing that case production for hinged phones progresses differently compared to standard iPhone models.
The presence of N52 magnets in the case does not ensure that the foldable iPhone will come with direct MagSafe support. It is also possible that the magnets are simply integrated into the case. In this scenario, the case can connect with MagSafe accessories such as wireless chargers and car mounts, but may not have a separate corresponding magnet array inside the phone.
These cases, listed by iFunSmart, are among the first accessory examples to appear for the new device. It is a normal process for similar cases from different manufacturers to hit the market before new iPhone launches. As the promotion period for the foldable iPhone approaches, more cases, models and accessory images are expected to appear.
It is said that Apple will introduce the foldable iPhone model with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in the fall of 2026. Current leaks state that the device will come with a 5.5-inch external screen and a 7.8-inch internal screen, and that it will have a thickness of approximately 9.5 mm when closed and approximately 4.5 mm when open.
On the technical side, the A20 Pro chip, 12 GB memory, two 48-megapixel rear cameras and Touch ID integrated into the side button instead of Face ID stand out. The starting price of the device is approximately $2,000. Apple has not yet made an official announcement about the foldable iPhone model.
