ISTANBUL (AA) – Mehmet Maşuk Gülaçar, Member of the Board of Directors of İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone, Member of the High Advisory Board of the International Trade Matching Platform (UTEP) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dersan Cooperative, visited UTEP Chairman Sami Bektaş. According to the statement made by UTEP, during the meeting, the parties pointed out the importance of production-oriented growth in terms of sustainable economic development and evaluated the current outlook of the Turkish economy, industrial production, export development and the expectations of the business world.

During the meeting, the parties agreed that production, investment and export-oriented policies will play a decisive role in achieving Turkey’s economic goals. It was also emphasized that UTEP will continue to act as a bridge between the business world and public institutions. Bektaş, whose views were included in the statement, stated that Turkey’s economic power comes from production, exports and entrepreneurship, and that a predictable environment of trust for industrialists and investors is one of the basic conditions for economic growth.

Noting that industrialists producing in different regions of Turkey, exporters opening up to new markets and entrepreneurs investing are among the basic elements of the country’s economy, Bektaş stated that permanent prosperity will be possible by strengthening the environment of production, investment and trust. Gülaçar also emphasized that organized industrial zones play a critical role in increasing Turkey’s production capacity and pointed out the importance of increasing the competitiveness of industrial organizations and supporting exports.

Stating that strengthening the cooperation between the public and private sectors will make significant contributions to economic growth, Gülaçar noted that supporting the production and investment ecosystem is necessary for sustainable development.
