Vivo Models That Will Receive Android 17 Update Revealed

Shortly before Google’s full release of Android 17, smartphone manufacturers also accelerated their work on new software. On the Vivo front, which has already started the Android 17 beta process, the list of devices expected to receive the update has come to the fore. Although the official support list has not yet been shared by the company, many models are expected to switch to the Android 17-based OriginOS 7 version in line with current update policies.

Especially the Vivo X series, Vivo V series and the upper segment models of the iQOO brand are expected to be among the priority devices for the new version. On the other hand, there is no clear picture in the Vivo Y series. Since the brand has not announced a clear software support policy for this series, it seems possible that some models may be excluded from the update. However, there is a possibility that the new Y series phones that have been released recently will be added to the list in the future.

When Will Android 17 Be Released? According to Google’s current calendar, the stable version of Android 17 is expected to be released for Pixel devices in June 2026. It is likely that Vivo will start the distribution process after completing its own interface adaptations. Considering past update schedules, Android 17 and OriginOS 7 updates for Vivo and iQOO devices may be offered to users in September 2026.
