“Yellow lip” reverse tulips blooming in Kars colored the nature

KARS (AA) – Yellow lipped tulips blooming after the rains in the Sarıkamış district of Kars, one of the highest settlements in Türkiye, colored the nature. The flowers blooming among the snow-capped mountains on one side and the Scots pine forests on the other, display all the beauties of nature. After about 10 days of intermittent rain, the yellow lip inverted tulips started to bloom. The yellow lip, an inverted tulip type that blooms in the Suludere region, located at an altitude of 2,500 meters, 10 kilometers away from the town center, also attracts the attention of nature lovers and amateur photographers.

Amateur photographer Mehmet Boztoprak told the AA correspondent that nature started to become more colorful after the long winter. Boztoprak stated that Sarıkamış has a magnificent nature and said: “The nature of Sarıkamış is very beautiful, there are all kinds of plants. Everyone can visit and see. Yellow lip tulips are endemic plants, they grow in the Suludere area. We came here with friends and took photos. he said.
