MERSİN (AA) – 1 person died and 5 people were injured, 3 of them seriously, as a result of the collision between a light commercial vehicle, a car and a truck in Mut district of Mersin. A light commercial vehicle with plate 33 AEB 163, driven by Burak Yaylamaz, a car with plate 33 UN 220, driven by Mustafa Yılmaz, and a truck with plate 70 FV 224, driven by Mehmet Ali Güzle, collided in Mut-Silifke highway, Köselerli District.
Health, gendarmerie, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident upon the notice of the surrounding people. In the accident, the driver Burak Yaylamaz lost his life, Merve Yaylamaz and her children Aybars and Ayliz Yaylamaz, the driver of the car Mustafa Yılmaz and the truck driver Mehmet Ali Güzle were injured. It was stated that Merve Yaylamaz, Aybars and Ayliz Yaylamaz, among the injured, who were taken to Mut State Hospital after the first intervention by the medical teams, were in serious condition.
Burak Yaylamaz’s body was taken to the morgue of the same hospital after examination. The road, which was closed to traffic in both directions due to the accident, was opened as a result of the work of the teams.
