VAN (AA) – 3 people who lost their way and got stranded during a trip in Gevaş district of Van were rescued by the police and AFAD teams. Three people who went on a trip on the shores of Lake Van, near İnköy District, lost their direction after a while and moved away from the area. The group of friends, who were unable to walk, asked for help from 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, seamen from the Provincial Police Department Edremit Sea Port Branch Directorate and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region.
The teams reached the stranded people after working for about 3 hours. 3 people were taken to the police boat and brought to İnköy Pier and handed over to the medical teams.
