YOZGAT (AA) – 8 people were injured as a result of the collision between a light commercial vehicle and a car in Yozgat’s Yerköy district. G.E. The light commercial vehicle with plate number 06 MPH 73, driven by Y.E., collided with the car with plate number 43 ACH 013, driven by Y.E., in the Yukarıelmahacılı village location on the Ankara-Yozgat highway. Upon notice, health, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

The drivers and 6 people in the vehicles were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to hospitals in the city by ambulance. 11The water discharged from a height of 173 meters at the Karakaya Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) in Çüngüş district of Diyarbakır turned into a visual feast. The amount of water in the basin of Karakaya Dam and HEPP, Turkey’s third largest dam and second largest hydroelectric power plant, reached 9.5 billion cubic meters with heavy rainfall.

In the Karakaya Dam and HEPP, which has an installed capacity of 1800 megawatts with a total of 6 units, 2 discharge gates of the dam were opened in the first place on May 11, after 7 years, against the risk of possible floods due to the water level approaching the maximum level. The discharge of pressurized water from the dam set, whose body height is 173 meters, turned into a visual feast. Rainbows occasionally form in the region due to sunlight.
