KABUL (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) and Turkish Red Crescent distributed 1400 sacrifice shares in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Speaking at the program organized for the distribution of sacrificed meat at the Afghanistan Red Crescent headquarters, Turkey’s Kabul Embassy Undersecretary Bilal Emre Biral said that Turkey always stands by Afghanistan and its people and continues to provide support. Stating that TDV, Turkish Red Crescent, official institutions and non-governmental organizations operating in the country provide support by operating in many areas, Biral said, “I would like to thank the Turkish people who made these services possible with the support they provided within the framework of the morality of Islamic brotherhood.
May God accept your sacrifices.” he said. Emrah Kandemir, Religious Services Counselor of Turkey’s Embassy in Kabul, stated that they were happy to deliver the relics of the Turkish nation to the people of Afghanistan. Kandemir stated that, as TDV, they will deliver sacrificial meat to 41 million people at 420 points in 84 countries, and that they aim to reach 300 thousand people in Afghanistan. Explaining that TDV does not only organize sacrifices, Kandemir noted that the foundation continues to deliver the trusts of the Turkish nation to those in need with water wells, education support projects, Ramadan aid, orphan and orphan support in many different regions of the world.
Turkish Red Crescent Afghanistan Representative Naimuulah Karimi stated that they are working to deliver aid to oppressed and needy people not only in Afghanistan but also in many parts of the world. Stating that they do not only distribute sacrificial meat but also carry out humanitarian aid activities, Karimi said, “Afghanistan Red Crescent helps us in distributing aid. After completing the slaughter of the 1400 shares entrusted to us in Afghanistan this year, we will deliver sacrificial meat to approximately 40 thousand families.” he said.
Afghanistan Red Crescent Vice President Hafiz Azizurrahman said, “Sacrifice means sharing and helping your brother. Turkey shows the brotherhood of Afghanistan and Turkey by providing this aid. It is important to help the oppressed. Turkish Religious Foundation and Turkish Red Crescent distributed aid in our provinces. They helped those in need and orphans. We thank the Turkish people.” he said. After the speeches, the sacrificed meat was distributed to families in need.
