Eid al-Adha prayer was performed in Sudan

KHARTOUM (AA) – Muslims in Sudan performed the Eid al-Adha prayer.

In the capital Khartoum, where internal conflicts caused destruction and control was regained, Muslims gathered in Pentecost Square in the early morning hours.

The congregation listened to the sermon and performed the Eid prayer.

After the prayer, Turkish Red Crescent distributed candies and toys to the children.

Afterwards, Muslims went to the slaughtering areas to perform their sacrificial rituals.

Turkish Red Crescent will slaughter 300 cattle in Sudan and distribute them to those in need.
