TDV distributed meat to 160 thousand 200 people in the north of Afghanistan

KABUL (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) delivered sacrificial meat to approximately 160 thousand 200 people in the northern regions of Afghanistan.

KABUL (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) delivered sacrificial meat to approximately 160 thousand 200 people in the northern regions of Afghanistan. Under the coordination of the Foundation’s Religious Services Attaché of Turkey’s Consulate General in Mazar-i Sharif, 8,400 shares of sacrifice were sacrificed in 9 provinces in the north of the country within the scope of the “2026 Sacrifice Organization by Proxy”.

The meat of the sacrificed animals was distributed in five-kilogram packages to approximately 25 thousand households, as well as orphanages, immigrant camps, memorization courses and boarding education institutions. The slaughtering operations were completed without any problems in the organization held in Badakhshan, Tahar, Baglan, Kunduz, Semengan, Belh, Cevizcan, Sarepul and Faryab in the north of Afghanistan. Thus, sacrificial meat was delivered to approximately 160 thousand 200 people.

Turkey’s Consul General in Mazar-i Sharif Murat Dikmen attended the program held in Alparslan Plain in Mazar-i Sharif. Thus, with the organization of the foundation, sacrificial meat was delivered to 650 households in the region. On the other hand, in a neighborhood where there is no electricity or water, the construction of a water well and foundation fountain that will work with solar energy, initiated with the support of TDV, continues.

The well to be opened is expected to meet most of the drinkable water needs of the region. Neighborhood residents expressed their satisfaction with the aid provided and thanked the brother Turkish people. The children expressed their love by saying “Thank you Türkiye”.
