TUNCELI (AA) – The woman, whose foot was injured in the mountainous area she went to visit in Tunceli’s Ovacık district, was carried 2 kilometers on a stretcher and then taken to the hospital by ambulance.

55-year-old Birsen B, who went to the mountainous area to see the inverted tulips in Ağaçpınar village of the district, sprained her foot while walking on the path.

Relatives of Birsen B, who had difficulty walking, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate, Munzur Search and Rescue, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.

Birsen B, who was given first aid by paramedics, was carried approximately 2 kilometers on a stretcher and brought to the ambulance waiting in the village.

Birsen B was treated at Tunceli State Hospital.
