BABILLE (AA) – Doctors Worldwide Association gave candies and balloons as gifts to children living in the rural areas of Babile, Ethiopia. The association, which came to the country within the scope of the “Ethiopia Sacrifice Operation” carried out with the slogan “Sacrifice, good health” on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, did not forget the children living here. The association visited the villages of Babile city in the Oromia region where they were for the sacrifice and distributed candies and balloons to children living in rural areas.
Association employees also made the children smile by singing songs and playing games with them. Making a statement to the AA correspondent, Doctors Worldwide Association Social Media Specialist Şüheda Nur Fidanol said that they came to Ethiopia this year saying “Let there be sacrifice and good health”. Explaining that they went out for distribution after sacrificing the animal, Fidanol said, “Every time we go out for distribution, we play games with children and distribute candies and balloons.
Their happiness actually becomes our happiness. We enjoy being here very much. We are trying to be everywhere in the world, in all oppressed geographies, and I hope we will be.” he said. Fidanol stated that they distributed candy to the children and said, “We held hands with the children and sang songs. We do very nice events together. “I am very happy to be here.” he said. Stating that it is very difficult to be a child in Africa, Fidanol added that a balloon and candy are very important for the children here.
