With the large-scale drug operation carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, simultaneous raids on drug trafficking were carried out in 77 provinces. A large amount of drugs were seized during the work carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Directorate and the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. A total of 3,420 teams and 6,376 personnel participated in the operations carried out by the provincial police directorates.

1,187 of the 2,284 suspects detained within the scope of the investigation were arrested. While a judicial control decision was implemented for 337 of the suspects, it was reported that judicial proceedings were continuing regarding the other people. The operations were carried out simultaneously in many provinces. Şanlıurfa, Tekirdağ, Muğla, Denizli, Hatay, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Van, Edirne, Erzurum, Kahramanmaraş, Trabzon, Afyonkarahisar, Batman, Tokat, Şırnak, Karabük, Ordu, Giresun, Bartın and Hakkari were among the provinces where the operations against drug dealers were carried out.
