ŞANLIURFA (AA) – Citizens who take advantage of the Eid al-Adha holiday visit Göbeklitepe, which is considered the zero point of history and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Göbeklitepe, which has attracted great attention from tourists since the day it was unearthed, continues to host thousands of local and foreign guests during the holiday, as every year. Visitors from different cities of Türkiye who wanted to make the most of the Eid al-Adha holiday had the opportunity to see Göbeklitepe.
Banu Arslan, who came from Antalya to visit Göbeklitepe, told the AA reporter that they were very curious about the ruins, so they came to the region with their friends. Stating that Göbeklitepe is a place that should be seen by everyone, Arslan said, “This is a really beautiful place, it is very impressive to see figures dating back 12 thousand years, we are glad we came.” he said. Latife Sayın, who came to Şanlıurfa from Isparta to spend the holiday, stated that she liked Göbeklitepe, which she visited for the first time, and that the T-shaped structures impressed her very much.
