SİİRT (AA) – FECRİ BARLIK – Bayram Acar, who lives in Siirt, married his son after his father, sister and daughter in his job as a marriage officer, which he has been doing for 32 years. 57-year-old Acar, who works at the Marriage Department of Siirt Municipality, took part in the wedding ceremonies of approximately 50 thousand couples throughout his career. Acar, who married his father in 2006 after his mother’s death, later handed over the marriage certificate to his sister in 2007 and to his daughter in 2015.
Acar was the last member of his family to marry his son, Salih Emre Acar, who married Zeynep Dilhan Güven. Bayram Acar, who had emotional moments at the ceremony where AK Party Siirt Deputy Mervan Gül, AK Party Provincial Chairman Bahri Caner Özturan and Siirt Chamber of Commerce and Industry Deputy Chairman Fuat Özgür Çalapkulu witnessed the wedding, told the AA reporter that he shared the happiness of thousands of couples in his duty for 32 years, 26 of which were uninterrupted.
Stating that he has married approximately 50 thousand couples so far, Acar said, “I also married my daughter, my sister and my late father. Today, I also married my son. It was a wonderful feeling that I married my father, it was a feeling that not everyone has. It is probably something unique in Turkey.” Nothing can replace it anyway.” he said. Acar stated that people from Siirt and surrounding provinces, as well as Istanbul and Ankara, who could not find a day of work, applied to him, and stated that he experienced a different excitement at each wedding.
Acar said: “Now I am officiating the marriages of the children of the people I married. His father comes and says to his child, ‘This is the one who performed the marriage of your mother and father.’ There is indescribable happiness. We want everyone, every couple to be happy. We start every job with ‘Bismillah’ to make them happy. “We always work to make them happy.” Acar advised couples who are getting married to show “love” and “respect” to each other and emphasized that these two concepts lie at the basis of happiness and family unity.
– “God blessed us too” Acar’s son Salih Emre Acar also talked about the happiness he felt when his father performed his wedding. Salih Emre Acar said, “My father’s marriage ceremony was a very unforgettable memory for us. He had also officiated the wedding of my grandfather and my sister before. God gave it to us too. He officiated my wedding. “It remained a memory that will last a lifetime for me.” he said. – “It’s a very nice feeling” Zeynep Dilhan Güven, who stated that she was happy to have her marriage performed by her father-in-law, said that she never thought she would experience such a thing.
Güven stated that his father-in-law’s marriage ceremony will remain a beautiful memory for them and said, “That’s why we are happy. It’s a great feeling that he officiated our wedding.” he said. – “Every time I open the wedding certificate, I look at it with pride.” Acar’s daughter, Gülsüm Özarpacı, who was married to her before, emphasized that it is an indescribable feeling to enter into marriage with her father’s signature, and said: “It is very proud and happy, and also a very emotional situation.

Bayram Acar’s older sister, Sevim Çabuk, whose marriage he performed, also stated that she gets very emotional every time she sees her sister’s signature on the marriage certificate.
