Hyundai i20 has been renewed and put on sale!

Hyundai Assan continues its new model offensive in the second half of the year with the facelifted i20.

The i20, which was first offered for sale in 2008, is one of Hyundai’s most successful models and is also produced in Turkey and proudly exported to more than 40 countries. The facelifted i20 significantly helps Hyundai’s sales success in Europe thanks to its quality, reliability and practicality. The i20, an assertive model of the brand in the B segment, continues to contribute to the market share of the brand as one of the best-selling models in our country as well as in Europe. The new i20 is an extremely good alternative for families, offering comprehensive connectivity and safety features as well as an updated elegant and sporty design.

Elegant and sporty design

The new i20 has an emotional and dynamic style that harmonizes proportion, architecture, style and technology in both the exterior and interior. One of the top three most successful models of the B segment, the i20 continues to maintain its sporty stance in the facelifted version, thanks to its low ceiling profile and long wheelbase.

The bold character line on the side and the unique C-pillar design give the car an attractive appearance. Meanwhile, the interior creates an airy feeling in the cockpit and at the same time looks attractive as if it was made by the hand of a sculptor. One of the prominent features of the design is the horizontal wings covering the high and protruding instrument panel. The dynamic proportions here also increase spaciousness and visibility in the cabin.

Hyundai i20 includes a new front bumper in its make-up operation. In addition to the new shape of the front bumper, the radiator grille, which has changed with the make-up, also begins to offer a sportier appearance. The Hyundai logo, which was on the grille in the previous generation, is moved to the upper middle part of the bumper in 2D. The rear also features a redesigned bumper and a unique taillight design. Newly designed 16 and 17 inch wheels are also new equipment that comes with the make-up.

The low roof profile and long wheelbase in the design of the new i20 maintain its existing sporty stance. These features improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle by reducing air resistance, which improves roadholding and also increases fuel efficiency. The dynamic light signature, together with the Z-shaped LED taillights, emphasizes its bold appearance. Despite its compact B segment dimensions, the new i20 offers its users plenty of storage compartments and a luggage volume of 352 liters. This volume can increase up to 1,165 liters when the rear seats are folded.

The new Hyundai i20 is offered with eight exterior color options. In the make-up version, three of these colors are completely new. Colors such as Meta Blue Pearlescent, Cloud Gray Pearlescent and Lime Yellow Pearlescent give the vehicle both dynamism and a more stylish visual appearance.

The new i20 offers best-in-class connectivity with best-in-class, high-tech convenience features. The model stands out with its standard 4.2-inch LCD display screen and USB type-C connections on the front and rear. Continuing to offer popular features such as the standard 8-inch multimedia infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the i20 has a wireless charging pad for smartphones.

The new i20 now appears safer and more equipped in the 2023 model make-up version. Equipped with Hyundai Smart Sense safety features, the car stands out with a wide range of active safety and advanced driving assistance features. The new i20 has one of the most comprehensive safety packages in its class and is produced in compliance with the highest European safety standards. Advanced Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA), including Intelligent Cruise Control Assist, now includes cyclists. FCA helps detect and prevent obstacles ahead or potential accidents while driving. Lane Following Assist (LFA) ensures that the vehicle stays in the current lane. Driver Warning Assistant (DAW) tries to prevent possible accidents by detecting the driver’s fatigue while driving and giving visual and auditory warnings.

The new i20 is offered for sale with three engine options, namely manual, automatic and DCT, with gasoline fuel type. These engines easily meet all the needs of drivers and also provide a more efficient drive. In addition to the improved ride and handling in the facelifted version, increased steering control is another prominent innovation. Hyundai i20 offers a 1.2-liter MPi 4-cylinder engine in the entry-level Jump trim level. While the atmospheric engine produces 84 horsepower, it is combined only with a five-speed manual transmission.

Another gasoline engine option of the new i20, the 1.4 MPI unit, offers 100 PS maximum power and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai i20, which also offers the 1.0 T-GDI engine for those who want more performance, includes “Continuously Variable Valve Duration (CVVD)” technology in this unit. CVVD technology optimizes engine performance and fuel efficiency while also being environmentally friendly. Valve control technology regulates the opening and closing time of the valve according to driving conditions. It adds a distinct power to the i20 as the only system that can change the valve opening time while driving depending on the conditions. This engine option comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT automatic transmission.

The New i20, which has three different hardware levels: Jump, Style and Elite, is offered for sale in our country with prices starting from 860,000 TL.
