BERLIN (AA) – Reactions were made to Israel’s attacks on Palestine and Lebanon in Berlin, the capital of Germany. A large number of people gathered near the Eberswalder Strasse metro station in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district to protest Germany’s supply of weapons to Israel, Israel’s usurpation of Palestinian lands, and its attacks on Palestine and Lebanon. Demonstrators walking towards the city center with Palestinian, Iranian and Lebanese flags carried signs and banners saying “Stop the genocide”, “This is called genocide” and “The only crime of the Palestinians is to exist”.
The demonstrators shouted slogans: The only solution is intifada resistance, This is not war, it is genocide, Israel is a terrorist state, German weapons are committing murder all over the world, Israel is killing children and Stop the genocide. The police, who took intense security measures, detained at least 2 demonstrators during the action. The march ended near Monbijou Park in Mitte district.
