BISHKEK (AA) – Turkish Red Crescent brought the abundance of sacrifice to the tables of hundreds of families in need with the activities carried out in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, within the scope of the 2026 sacrifice organization. After slaughtering in a modern slaughterhouse in the capital, the packaged sacrificial meat was delivered to those in need by Turkish Red Crescent teams. Türkiye’s Ambassador to Bishkek Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, Turkish Red Crescent Deputy Chairman Mustafa Sarılar, Kyrgyzstan Red Crescent President Chingiz Cakıpov, Turkish Red Crescent Central Asia Delegation Head Sevde Nur Söylemez, Turkish Red Crescent volunteers and representatives of local authorities attended the distribution event held in one of the outskirts of the city.
In his speech here, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Bishkek Ökem congratulated the Kyrgyz families on the Eid al-Adha and said that the Turkish Red Crescent is here to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. he said. Kyrgyz families who received the aid expressed their gratitude and prayers to Türkiye and the Turkish Red Crescent’s donors. – We deliver it to 2 thousand to 2 thousand 500 families in need. Turkish Red Crescent Deputy Chairman Sarılar, in his statement to the AA correspondent, stated that the Red Crescent carries out sacrifice programs in nearly 30 countries and said, “Today, we are very happy to be in Bishkek, the capital of the friendly and brotherly country Kyrgyzstan, and to share this blessing with our brothers here.
he said. Sarılar, we slaughtered a total of 50 cattle in Bishkek. This corresponds to 350 shares, that is, approximately 10 tons of meat.
