EDİRNE (AA) – Heavy rain and hail had a negative impact on life in Edirne.

The rain, which started as a thunderstorm in the city, turned into hail in some areas.

Those who were unprepared for the rain tried to protect themselves by taking shelter in the covered bazaars with the awnings of their workplaces.

Due to the downpour, water accumulated in some streets and avenues, and drivers had difficulty moving forward in traffic.

Police teams took precautions at points where traffic congestion occurred.

In the city, where the air temperature is measured at 25 degrees, showers are expected to continue intermittently until the evening hours.
