ABIDJAN (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) continues the sacrifice and distribution of sacrifice shares within the scope of the “Sacrifice Slaughtering Organization by Proxy” in Ivory Coast. TDV officials and volunteers, who came to the country for the activity organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and TDV, continue their sacrifice activities in different cities and regions of the country. While sacrificial animals are slaughtered in 17 regions such as Abidjan, Yamusukro, Toumodi and Abobo, the shares of the sacrifice are delivered to the local people in need.

Harun Dündar Karahan, Head of the Department of Zakat and Social Religious Services of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, stated to the AA correspondent that the slaughter of the sacrifices entrusted to the Turkish Religious Foundation is continuing. Stating that the slaughter of approximately 2 thousand cattle continues in the Ivory Coast and the distribution of nearly 15 thousand shares to the needy local people continues, Karahan said, “These sacrifices will reach many families as a greeting from Turkey.

We brought the greetings and prayers of the people in the most remote parts of Anatolia here. Our brothers here also pray for them, to people they do not know. This is what the Muslim brotherhood is like. Not even the smallest part of the sacrifice is wasted.” Offal and skin are also used. Nobody should worry. May God be pleased with those who slaughtered it and those who had it cut.” he said. TDV volunteer Lütfullah Duman noted that he was working in the Abobo region to organize the sacrifice by proxy and that the people were excitedly waiting for the distribution of a thousand shares of the sacrificed animals.
