PARIS (AA) – The 10th Paris Black Sea Plateau Festival was organized in France by the Paris Trabzon Association. Türkiye’s Paris Consul General Kerem Yılmaz, Türkiye’s Paris Embassy First Undersecretary Atakan Ezgü, Paris Trabzonians Association President Bülent Cumur, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General GürkanThird, Epinay-sur-Seine Deputy Mayor Mohammed Cherfaoui, as well as many families and their children attended the festival held in the city of Epinay-sur-Seine, near Paris, the capital of France.
In addition to the artists Gökhan Sağgül, Mert Sirkeci, Yasin Şekerci and Enes Çabuk, Uğur Öztürk, who grew up in France and fell in love with kemençe at a young age, also took the stage at the festival. Black Sea folk songs were sung while horon was played at the 10th Paris Black Sea Plateau Festival, which also featured stands where local delicacies were introduced. – We are experiencing Trabzon, the Black Sea, our homeland.
Türkiye’s Consul General in Paris, Yılmaz, in his speech at the festival, said, “We are experiencing Trabzon, the Black Sea, and our homeland with all of you here today, in the organization of President Bülent.” We are very happy. he said. Yılmaz pointed out that the French also participated in the festival and said, “They also have the opportunity to get to know various elements of our culture.” he said. Yılmaz thanked everyone who contributed to the organization and wished success for the future events.
Ezgü, First Undersecretary of Türkiye’s Embassy in Paris, noted that the festival took place under very nice conditions and said, “Thank you very much for this event.” he said. Ezgü stated that they were happy to be at the festival. Cumur, President of Paris Trabzon Association, stated that they came to the festival to have fun, play horon and tell about their culture and said: Türkiye is here, Trabzon is here. he said.
Cumur wished everyone a good time and said that they would work together to do better next year. – We are trying to live and keep alive the values of our Turkey together.
