GİRESUN (AA) – Sedat Çelik (54), whose body was found 5 days after he got lost in the current while fishing in the Yağlıdere district of Giresun, was sent off on his last journey. In addition to his family and relatives, AK Party Giresun Deputy Nazım Elmas, Yağlıdere District Governor Muhammed Taha Büyükserin, Yağlıdere Mayor Yaşar İbaş and citizens attended the funeral ceremony held for Sedat Çelik in the garden of the Cultural Center in Kanlıca village.

After the prayer, Çelik’s body was buried next to his nephew with the same name, who died in the same incident. An investigation had been initiated for Sedat Çelik and his 28-year-old nephew, who got lost in the current while fishing in Yağlıdere Creek, which passes through the Kanlıca village of Yağlıdere district, on May 23. The body of his nephew Sedat Çelik, who was found approximately 250 meters away from the point where he disappeared, was buried in the district three days ago, and the lifeless body of his uncle Sedat Çelik was found yesterday at the Kaşdibi village bridge location in Espiye district.
