Those who prefer the important tourism centers of the Southern Aegean such as Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye for the holiday continue their return journey.

There was a lot of activity in Bodrum due to holidaymakers returning with their vehicles. It was stated that more than 25 thousand vehicles left the district in the last 36 hours.

Due to the density, a long queue of vehicles formed on the Bodrum-Milas highway in the direction of Güvercinlik.

In Marmaris, there was congestion on Datça highway, National Egemenlik Avenue in the Muğla direction.

Holidaymakers returning from Fethiye caused congestion on the Ölüdeniz-Fethiye highway, and holidaymakers returning from Marmaris and Datça caused congestion at the entrance of Menteşe district via the Marmaris-Ula highway.

Police and gendarmerie traffic teams took precautions at intersections and gave directions to drivers.
