DİYARBAKIR (AA) – The driver lost his life and his wife was seriously injured in an armed attack on a light commercial vehicle in Diyarbakır’s Ergani district.
The light commercial vehicle with plate number 16 SLP 06, driven by Hüseyin Ş (51), who was returning home from his field with his wife S.Ş (44), was attacked by a person or persons in the rural Çukurdere District.
After the attack, the vehicle fell into the ditch.
Upon notice, 112 Emergency Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
During the check-up by the medical teams, it was determined that Hüseyin Ş had died.
S.Ş. was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Gendarmerie teams started work to catch the escaped perpetrator or perpetrators.
