GUMUSHANE (AA) – Tomara Waterfall, one of the important tourism destinations of the Eastern Black Sea Region, offers its visitors the opportunity to spend time in nature. Tomara Waterfall in Seydibaba village of Gümüşhane’s Şiran district is known locally as “forty springs” because the water arising from 40 points flows from a height of 15 meters and merges. There is also a glass viewing terrace for visitors who want to watch the natural beauty in the area where the waterfall is located, which is 130 kilometers from the city center and 14 kilometers from the town center.
Zeynep Kara, operator of Tomara Waterfall Nature Park, told the AA reporter that they aim to host 250 thousand local and foreign visitors in the new tourism season. Stating that there is a harsh winter in the region, Kara said, “For this reason, the water flow rate of our waterfall is higher than in previous years. The water flows more enthusiastically and the environment is cooler. This offers our visitors a unique nature experience.
We welcome all our guests to Tomara Waterfall.” he said. Kara stated that the waterfall attracts attention with its sparkling water coming out of forty different springs and said, “The strong sound and cool atmosphere created by the water make visitors feel the impressive aspects of nature. With this feature, Tomara Waterfall is one of the important natural beauties of Turkey worth seeing.” he said. Celal Akyol, one of the visitors, stated that they came from the Gölova district of Sivas to see the waterfall and had a pleasant time.
Ömer Asaf Karabulut stated that they loved the region, where they came for the first time with his family, and said, “I didn’t want to come at first. Because I thought this was a small place. However, when I arrived, I was very surprised. “I liked it very much, it is a really beautiful place.” he said. Taner Petek said that he last came to Tomara Waterfall 15 years ago and now they are happy that the opportunities have increased.
