VAN (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) delivered sacrificial meat to those in need in Van within the scope of the "Sacrifice Slaughtering Organization by Proxy".

VAN (AA) – Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) delivered sacrificial meat to those in need in Van within the scope of the “Sacrifice Slaughtering Organization by Proxy”. TDV teams packaged the sacrificed meat after the slaughter at Van Meat Integrated Facilities in Edremit district, under the supervision of veterinarians of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. A team of 7 people came to Van from Ankara and distributed the meat of the sacrificed animals to the needy people in the city.

TDV Management Services Manager Lütfullah Sarıgül told the AA correspondent that, as TDV, they continue their work in 85 countries within the scope of the sacrifice organization in 2026. Stating that they came to Van to represent the domestic leg of the program, Sarıgül said, “The slaughtering process of our sacrificial animals, which we carefully determined in accordance with Islamic procedures and principles, under the supervision of our veterinarians, has been completed.
