TEKİRDAĞ (AA) – Uçmakdere region in Tekirdağ hosts paragliding enthusiasts who want to meet the sky during Eid al-Adha. In the region where the Marmara Sea and the forests at the foot of Ganos Mountain are integrated, adrenaline enthusiasts fly from 250 and 600 meter runways throughout the day, depending on the wind conditions. Extreme sports enthusiasts, especially from Istanbul and nearby cities, enjoy nature by having the opportunity to watch the beauties where blue and green meet from the sky.
Parachute pilot Ali Sıralı told the AA correspondent that holidaymakers had a different experience by flying with a paraglider. Stating that paragliding flights increased during the holiday, Sıralı said, “The weather is very nice. Those who want to have a different experience come to Uçmakdere. We welcome everyone to see the unique beauties of Uçmakdere. We stay in the air for a while and land with the flights we make from different runways.
Those who want to experience this experience should come and see it.” he said. Stating that holidaymakers coming to the city are especially interested in paragliding, Sıralı stated that hundreds of people will meet the sky during the holiday.
