Social media platform X has introduced a new usage regulation covering free users. According to the update made in the platform’s help center, the daily post sharing limit for unverified accounts has been significantly reduced. With the new application, users who do not have a blue tick will be able to make a maximum of 50 unique posts in a day. The response limit was set at 200 responses per day. The regulation directly affects user accounts that share heavily.
Previous Limits Were Much Higher. In the previously published usage information of X, it was stated that the daily sharing right was up to 2,400 posts. With the latest change, the new limit for free accounts means a remarkable decrease compared to the previous system. It was observed that old limit information continued to be included on some help pages of the platform. This situation led to evaluations that the update was implemented gradually.
