BATMAN (AA) – 7 of the 10 suspects caught in the operation against the organized crime group in Batman were arrested.
According to the statement made by the Governorship, a coordinated effort was carried out by the Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime and Public Order Branch teams to ensure public order throughout the city and to expose criminal organizations.
In this context, an operation was carried out against the organized crime group, which was determined to have carried out 7 separate armed actions in the city since last year.
During the operation, 10 suspects were detained, 4 guns and 120 cartridges were seized.
It was determined that one of the seized weapons was used by members of the organization in 6 different incidents.
7 of the suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, were arrested by the judgeship, and the others were released with a judicial control order.
