He bids farewell to the Wraith model, one of the transformative motor cars in the history of the Rolls-Royce brand. Announcing that they have reached the end of production, the luxury car manufacturer introduced its special model, Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow, today.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith model, introduced in 2013, is one of the most important and influential models ever produced. More performance-oriented than its predecessors Phantom and Ghost, Wraith fundamentally changed the perception of Rolls-Royce. It brought new, young customer groups to the brand for the first time.
V12 CONNECTION
This Bespoke car is limited to just 12 examples worldwide, and is also the last V12 coupe Rolls-Royce will ever make. The powerful expression of this transformative engine car, offering some of the highest levels of performance. Black Badge Wraith took inspiration from an equally important V12 for the Black Arrow Collection.
In its design concept inspired by Thunderbolt, which broke world land speed records in the 1930s, it offers Gradient Paint, one of the most complex surface coatings Rolls-Royce has ever had.
BESPOKE VENEER
It features each interior door panel made from 320 inlay pieces to create a dramatic, tactile surface. Black Arrow’s car doors are covered in open-pore Black Wood in a complex design made up of multiple parts. 320 versatile and laser inlay pieces mimic cracked, uneven surface. It is accompanied by 2,117 fiber optic “stars” Bespoke Starlight Headliner on the ceiling.
NEW ‘CLUB’ LEATHER
The interior of the Black Arrow is equipped with a new type of material developed specifically for the Collection.
The door details, door side panels, and the entire lower instrument panel panel are coated in a deliberately brighter and even darker black color with “Club Leather”.
