TRABZON (AA) – Çal Cave, 1050 meters above sea level in Düzköy district of Trabzon, welcomes its visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday. In addition to its stalactites and stalagmites, the cave, which contributes to regional tourism with its castle, waterfall and lake, attracts the attention of adrenaline lovers. The depth of the stream passing through the cave, which has air flow with the outside environment thanks to the cracks and gives the feeling of walking in the valley even though it is underground, changes seasonally.

Local and foreign tourists can visit approximately 1 kilometer of the cave, most of which is still waiting to be discovered. University student Aleyna Yılmaz, one of the visitors, stated that Çal Cave is very natural and beautiful and said, “I have been here for 4 years, I came for the first time. It is very nice in terms of preserving its naturalness. There is a nice weather inside, it is cooler than outside. I was cold when I first entered, but I got used to it.
