ARTVİN (AA) – Floods and landslides occurred at various points in Borcka district of Artvin due to heavy rain.
Due to the downpour that started last night and continued intermittently in the district, some streams passing through the villages of Muratlı, Kayadibi, Tektaş, Karşıköy, Başköy and Fındıklı overflowed.
In addition to floods, due to landslides that occurred at various points, the roads of some villages and neighborhoods were closed to transportation and agricultural lands were damaged.
Special Provincial Administration Borçka Construction Site Chief teams continue their work to open the closed roads to transportation with the help of construction equipment.
